
We are now accepting new recruits for the 2008/2009 training year. Training occurs Tuesdays at 1815hrs (6:15pm) sharp (regular training nights start at 6:15pm). It is recommended that a recruit bring with them a current wallet sized photo, Alberta Health Care Number, and Social Insurance Number (if available). Parents/Gaurdians must attand to complete application form and signatures. Although September is the best time to join to recieve the full benefits of the training year, we welcome new recruits year round!
We welcome anyone who has an interest in the army cadet program to come and see us and see what we do. We welcome the opportunity to show potential recruits, friends, and parents who we are, and supply more information regarding our training, staff, and policies.
The greatest part about the Royal Canadian Army Cadets (RCAC) - IT'S FREE! In order to join the RCAC, the recruit must:
1. Be between in ages of 12 and 18 inclusive;
2. Be (relatively) fit, 3. Be able to train on a regular, weekly basis*;
4. Be willing to give 100% effort, "YOU WILL GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN"
It is also recommended that recruits have a current photo (wallet size), Social Insurance Number (SIN), and Alberta Health Care number.
*Please note: Although participation in Army Cadets itself in voluntary, those who do join are corps are expected to keep a high rate of attendance, as you would in school.
